Delivered under the London Borough of Croydon Primary School and SEN Expansion Programme, this project provides a 1 Form Entry expansion at the primary school being equivalent to 210 new school places.

The old modular units were demolished and replaced with a new brick and timber-clad two storey “Rainbow Building” incorporating nine classrooms complete with colour co-ordinated furniture. The development sits within newly landscaped grounds and provides more flexible internal teaching spaces for younger children and includes specialist outdoor learning spaces. The original Infant School was extensively refurbished and repaired creating contemporary teaching spaces.

How these were delivered

  • The internal refurbishment works have taken place over the Summer holidays in order to minimise disruption and to allow the new facilities to be ready for the start of term in September.
